Noike Park

Located almost in the center of the Kuju town, it is a historic natural Japanese-style garden designated as a regional national park, known as a recreational area since the days of Shiga, lord of Shirani-Nanzan Castle, and Kiyomasa Kato, lord of the Kumamoto Castle during the Keicho era. About one-third of the garden is a spring-fed pond, and old cedars grow thickly. (A prefectural scenic beauty spot).
