Staff at the Taketa City Tourist Information Center can provide assistance in English, Chinese and German. It takes only 2 minutes by foot from JR Bungo-Taketa Station.

Easy access to neighboring cities by buses that stop at the center 近隣都市へ向かうバスの停留所もあります
Route buses going inside Taketa City and highway buses going to Aso, Kumamoto, and Oita cities stop at the center.
竹田市内の路線バスはもちろん、阿蘇・熊本や大分に向かう高速バスの停留所もあります。
The Taketa City Tourist Information Center features hot spring baths and stores 建物の中には、温泉やショップもあります。
Guests can enjoy a dip in a hot spring in a large public bath or a private bath for families and friends. The foot bath located in front of the building is free.
天然温泉の施設には大浴場だけでなく家族や仲間だけで入れる「貸切湯」もあります。施設前にある足だけつかって温まる「足湯」は、無料です。
